Protective Order Hearings
The Courts conduct protective order hearings when there are allegations of abuse of either the spouse, ex- spouse, or former partner. Protective Orders may result in one party not being able to enter their own home. Often these allegations may result in criminal charges against one party. The Court may also award family maintenance income to one party and require payment by the other party. It is important to hire counsel with extensive experience in the different aspects of a Protective Order Hearing. Contact James Thomas for a consultation.
